Go-Stop Duel

Matgo is two-player Go-Stop played with hwatu, Korea’s flower cards. Play a card to capture a table card of the same month, then flip one from the pile and match again. Collect Brights, Animals, Ribbons and Junk; at 7 points shout “Go” to aim higher or “Stop” to win. Kisses, double matches, stuck piles, sweeps, bombs, shaking and junk/bright penalties — the real rules! Climb from Level 1 to 100 with a new rival every level (96 PlayPang and world friends) — take all of your rival’s coins to open the next level, while the stake per point, your rival’s bankroll and the AI’s skill rise from beginner to card shark. Levels 97–100 are Boss mode: the Four Kings of Matgo, the Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger and Black Tortoise, are waiting. The Go penalty (lose after calling Go: ×2) follows the real rules, and you choose whether the September animal counts as double junk when you take it. PlayPang bonus cards (double and triple junk) are in the deck too. New to hwatu? Pang explains each step, and hints help when you are stuck. Coins are play points used only in this game; your ranking score is the total points of every game you have won.
