Game records are PlayPang player records, not official world or Olympic records. AI results never enter the shared player record board.
Tournament format
Four heats of eight: the first two in each heat plus eight fastest remaining athletes advance. Two semi-finals send their first three plus two fastest to the final.
Only final standings award gold, silver and bronze. National rankings compare gold, then silver, then bronze; equal medal totals share a rank.
Qualification ties use finer times or next-best marks, then a seeded draw. Equal final results share a place and medal.
AI countries are simulated opponents, not connected people. Their abilities are seeded for each event and do not represent national sporting strength.
Olympic origins
Ancient Games were held at Olympia in Greece. Their traditional starting date is 776 BCE; they formed a religious festival repeated every four years.
The IOC was founded in 1894 on Pierre de Coubertin’s initiative. Athens hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896.
Chamonix hosted the first Winter Olympic Games in 1924. Today the Games bring athletes together around excellence, friendship and respect.
